ABOUT THE FOUNDATION
The Future Goals Foundation (formerly the EDP Foundation) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the advancement, education, and career development of student-athletes in the soccer community.
THE FOUNDATION
The Foundation is dedicated to providing a free resource to enable individuals whose lives have been influenced by soccer to pursue education beyond high school.
Our programs are designed to inform and inspire student-athletes and others, so that they are able to pursue post-secondary education and ultimately a rewarding career. Read below, and share our mission, so that we can help to better the lives of everyone in and out of the soccer community.
ROBIN DEAN
Chair
Robin Dean is a long-time supporter of the Foundation and its mission. Mr. Dean was formerly Executive DIrector for West Windsor-Plainsboro Soccer Association (WWPSA), where he also served as a Board Member. Mr. Dean is a Partner and Executive Vice President of Gate 1 Travel, a leading international tour operator. Prior to joining Gate 1 in 1995, Mr. Dean spent 10 years in the tourism business in New York. Mr. Dean earned an MA in Theology from the University of Cambridge in England.
AMY HOUGH
Director
The Head Coach for Women's Soccer at Elizabethtown College (NCAA DIII) since 2016, Coach Amy Hough has coached the Blue Jays to 4 Landmark Conference playoff appearances, including the program’s first ever Landmark Championship game in 2021. In her tenure, Coach Hough has coached 22 all-conference players, 4 United Soccer Coaches All-Region honorees, and 1 United Soccer Coaches All-American, who was also a three time Landmark Offensive Player of the Year (Lydia Lawson 2018, 2018, 2019). Hough and her staff were named the Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year in 2019. Previously, Coach Hough was a Head Coach with Lehigh Valley United, Assistant Coach for the Women's Soccer team at Lehigh University and her alma mater La Salle University. Hough spent the inaugural (2010) season with the Philadelphia Independence (WPS) as a volunteer assistant, and will return to the sidelines in 2024 as an assistant coach for Reading United AC in the WPSL. Coach Hough graduated from La Salle University with an MBA and double bachelors degree in Psychology and Marketing, as she played soccer for the Division I team, earning a multitude of awards from Rookie of the Year to the Coaches' Award.
BLAKE HENRY
Director
Blake Henry joined the Future Goals Foundation in 2014 to advance its mission of empowering young soccer enthusiasts to achieve their full potential. He is a lifelong entrepreneur who actively advises and invests in companies that operate at the intersection of sports and technology. Mr. Henry's prior business experience includes launching, operating, and exiting multiple enterprise-scale financial technology solution providers. Additionally, he played soccer and studied Management Information Systems (MIS) at Drexel University before earning his B.S. in Economics at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
BOHDAN PORYTKO
Director
Bohdan Porytko has spent two decades evolving competitive platforms for youth soccer, including creating MAPS, the first successful northeastern league for regional play. Mr. Porytko is President of CJYSA and serves on the boards of New Jersey Youth Soccer and U.S. Adult Soccer's Region One, in addition to his primary role as the Programming Director for EDP Soccer. Prior to that, Mr. Porytko was General Counsel of Levelor Lorentzen Inc., a staff attorney at ADP Inc., and an associate at Pitney Hardin & Szuch.
PETER GOODING
Director
As the former President of United Soccer Coaches and the Athletic Director and Head Soccer Coach at Amherst College, Gooding is a veteran of the collegiate athletics space. He is a senior staff coach for the United Soccer Coaches Academy Program, of which he was a founding member. He has also received several of the industry's highest honors, including the United Soccer Coaches' Honor Award, Bill Jeffrey Merit Award, and has been inducted into the Coaches' Hall of Fame.
