By providing scholarships to those pursuing post-secondary education, our goal is to support bright, passionate, and ambitious individuals in the soccer community who are seeking to improve the world in their own way.

Each year, the Future Goals Foundation awards scholarships to individuals whose lives have been influenced by the game of soccer and are pursuing education at a post-secondary institution.

Each recipient of a Future Goals Scholarship will receive $2,500 to put towards the tuition and other costs of attending their future institution.

Applicants of all ages and career paths are invited to apply. Whether you're planning to continue your education at private university, playing soccer at your local community college, or pursue a career through a trade school, you are eligible!

The application must be completed in entirety to be considered. Below are the items the application will ask for:

  1. Your full name.

  2. A soccer resume. This resume should include your name, contact information (email and/or phone number), education, soccer experience, and any extracurricular activities (ie. volunteer work, participation in other sports, and/or employment).

  3. A letter of recommendation. This letter of recommendation should be written by a coach, teacher, or another individual in a position of mentorship for you.

  4. An essay where an applicant should respond to the question:

How has your involvement in soccer shaped your character and positively impacted your life outside of soccer?


​Applications will be accepted from March 7, 2024 to 11:59 PM EST on June 1, 2024. 


This application is open to the general public. The only requirements for applicants are as follows:

  1. Applicants must be in the process of graduating or must have completed high school level education.

  2. Applicants must have been accepted to or are planning to attend a post-secondary institution (university, college, technical school, or trade school) within the next calendar year.

  3. Applicants must have in some form been or be a part of the soccer community, and should be able to express how soccer has influenced their lives. This means an applicant must have at some point in their lives been a player, official, coach, etc.


The recipients of the scholarships are decided by the Future Goals Foundation Scholarship Committee, using only the material submitted through the application. Recipients of the scholarships will be contacted via the email associated with their application.

The application review process will end the first week of July, and selected applicants will be contacted regarding their award then. All applicants will be notified of the final decision based upon their application.


By submitting this application, applicants agree to allow the Future Goals Foundation and its respective agents use of their name, image, and likeness in promotional material. Personal information, essay responses, and letters of recommendation will be kept confidential.
